After many years visiting, displaying and enjoying the wonderful atmosphere created around the Milano Design Week and the great Salone Del Mobile, Cosentino puts forward in 2016 a wide and ambitious programme of activities.
Without question, the biggest addition to this event is the permanently open exhibition space in the heart of Milano – Cosentino City Milano, located in Piazza Fontana, within 3 minutes’ walk of the Duomo.
The Cosentino City was opened in October 2015 and since then we have become a must-visit place for anyone keen on architecture and design. This year, on the occasion of the Milano Design Week, we will be especially eager to welcome the professionals from all around the globe who want to meet the latest products and proposals that Cosentino is bringing to the table.
Moreover, Cosentino will be highly present in the Salone del Mobile, with a stand located in Pavilion 22, focused on bath and cladding. A carefully designed and original stand created by the Canadian studio Ciccone Simone, in which the commitment of Cosentino in the
world of bathroom displays – Silestone and Dekton products offer unlimited possibilities of applications, with a quality guaranteed by its use in hotels, high-standard homes, etc.
It is equally important to highlight the collaborations that Cosentino has shared with to leading companies in K&B furniture coming from Italy, Germany and Spain, who had chosen Silestone and Dekton worktops for their cabinets displayed in Eurocucina.
Finally yet importantly, we highly advise you to visit the exhibition that the gifted craftsman from Barcelona, Javier Aparratu, had created in tribute to Stonehenge, and that incorporates Dekton as an iconic element. You will find more information about this exhibition in a broader article within this leaflet.
The marketing, projects, R&D and manufacture teams have applied their deepest enthusiasm and attention to make Cosentino’s presence in Milano 2016 a valuable experience for all our customers around the globe.
See you in Milano!
Cosentino is a global company and their products are specified by designers and architects around the world.
The booth represents Cosentino’s international presence in the design industry and the fact that the use of their products is not limited by country or climate. The booth takes you on a journey through 4 distinct regions: a Parisian Apartment, a Balinese Garden, a London Loft and a Toronto Town Home.
Each vignette explores different applications of Dekton and Silestone and illustrates that Cosentino’s products have the ability to create total environments whether urban or rural. Interior or exterior. The booth also demonstrates that the line of Cosentino products is not limited to a specific genre. They can be used to emphasize a wide range of international design styles: from traditional French moldings and herringbone floors to the sleek and minimal lines of modern design.
Eurocucina is the most important showroom for the latest and trendiest kitchen designs worldwide.
Cosentino is proud to collaborate with leading kitchen companies to showcase an impressive line-up of Dekton and Silestone worktops that have been chosen by the best designers in the kitchen industry.
In this project, a review to the origins of the material and its process is set forward. A study of the stone as a return to the origin. Working hand in hand with the technical department of Cosentino, we are able to transform Dekton into a ceramic material to shape the project.
Conveying the ultracompact surface into a ductile and manageable process, just like ceramics. An experimental exercise which enables crafts-working with a digital approach.
The fact of being able to work with Dekton as a raw material allow us to explain the process of transformation of the material from its liquid to solid state, in the same way ceramic is made.
The Cosentino City are spaces created to promote the relationship between Cosentino and Architects and Designers in a social and dynamic area where everyone speaks same language. It is a space to interact with the materials and discover all of the latest design news in the market.
Our Cosentino City Showroom will be one of trendiest hotspots during the Milan Design Week, a remarkable meeting point for the Architectural and Design community. Learn, experiment and enjoy the experience in a space with Cosentino DNA.
In our Cosentino City we will introduce the modular kitchen MEVO, designed by the German designer Marcus Fußstetter. It is a kitchen meant to become the perfect meeting point and a place for freedom and creativity. Its Dekton Aura worktop enhances both design and functionality of the kitchen.
